Blaze Type was founded in 2016 in Lyon by Matthieu Salvaggio, right after he finished his graphic design studies. The foundry has grown by collaborating with other designers, such as Léon Hugues, Alain Papazian and Siri Lindskrog.
Positioning
Blaze Type wants to create typefaces that designers are eager to use, with a strong personality. It also stands out for a very simple license: a single price per typeface, with all usage rights and no time limit.
Catalog
An independent catalog that combines expressive display typefaces, very complete variable families and revivals.
