It is a return to the original version of Helvetica, as it was designed in 1957 under the name Neue Haas Grotesk. The many technical adaptations of Helvetica over the decades had erased some details of the original design.

It is very popular with designers, who consider it more faithful and more lively than the common versions of Helvetica.
