Omnicom Reputation GroupCorporate website

Based on Rue La Condamine, in Paris’s 17th arrondissement, Omnicom Reputation Group practises a profession that is rarely seen: reputation. The agency advises leaders, companies and institutions across eight areas of expertise, from strategic intelligence to financial communication, including crisis management, public affairs and influence. It counts 90 clients in France and abroad, with revenue of 12 million euros in 2024. For the redesign of its corporate website, Omnicom Reputation Group entrusted the project to Bonhomme, a web agency based in the heart of Paris. The work begins with content architecture and UX-UI, then takes shape around a design system. Front-end development brings the graphic intentions to life and a WebGL layer animates the homepage. Finally, a bilingual WordPress CMS gives the teams control over their content.

Showing what, by definition, cannot be seen

Reputation has neither shape nor colour. It is built over time, read through weak signals and sometimes lost in a matter of hours. In consulting, a sector founded on trust and discretion, the usual images quickly fall flat: handshakes, meeting rooms, generic charts. They convey seriousness without saying anything about the profession.

The site therefore has to reconcile two conflicting demands. On the one hand, making an intangible subject tangible, so that visitors grasp in a few seconds what the agency brings. On the other, addressing busy executives, for whom the slightest slowness or imprecision undermines credibility. The user experience and user interface work is built between these two poles.

Add to this a question of scale. Eight areas of expertise, two languages and regular news must coexist without the message becoming scattered. A chief financial officer, a head of public affairs and a communications department must each find their way, and recognise the same agency on every page.

A WebGL material to depict the intangible

From its offices in Paris, the web production studio Bonhomme looked for an image capable of expressing reputation without illustrating it. The answer takes the form of a moving material, developed in WebGL: a field that ripples, thickens and reshapes itself, like a signal that is picked up and then steered.

The metaphor captures the heart of the profession. Reputation appears as a living flow, sensitive to disruption, which the agency learns to read before influencing it. The visual does not decorate the page: it carries its message.

The animation is deliberately restrained. It accompanies reading without ever competing with it, and leaves the leading role to the message. Across the entire corporate website, it serves as a common thread and gives the agency a visual signature that the usual codes of consulting never offered.

For an executive seeking support in a sensitive situation, the website is often the first point of contact. Slow loading or an approximate display is enough to weaken trust. Front-end development is therefore approached as a matter of credibility as much as technique.

The WebGL rendering is optimised to stay smooth without weighing down the pages, and resource loading is prioritised so that the essentials appear first. Accessibility guides the interface choices: controlled contrasts, keyboard navigation, and a semantic structure readable by assistive technologies.

The design system frames this rigour. Typography, grids, components and interaction states are defined once, then rolled out across the eight areas of expertise and in both languages of the site. On the user experience and user interface side, every page follows the same logic: a promise, an expertise, a proof. The UX-UI gains a sobriety that directly serves the agency’s message.

The WordPress CMS relies on these same components. The teams publish news and analysis independently, with no risk of degrading the quality of the site.

Impact: instant credibility with executives

The new site establishes instant credibility with executives: fast, accessible and sober, it lives up to the stakes entrusted to the agency:

• An intangible profession made visible: thanks to WebGL, reputation takes on a form unique to the agency.

• A fast, accessible corporate website, designed for an audience of demanding decision-makers.

• A sober UX-UI that puts the eight areas of expertise and the key figures front and centre.

• A design system shared by both languages and all areas of expertise.

• Front-end development that reconciles animation and performance, with no compromise on accessibility.

• Teams that are autonomous in the WordPress CMS to publish analysis and thought leadership.

For Omnicom Reputation Group, the site becomes the first demonstration of its expertise: an agency able to give shape to the invisible starts by doing so for itself. In an institutional world where trust is won at first contact, technical rigour becomes an argument in its own right. This project illustrates the method that the website design agency Bonhomme has developed in Paris since 2013 with corporate and institutional players: start from the client’s profession to invent its form, rather than applying a generic visual language.
