Standing out with an e-commerce experience in a highly competitive market
In the fashion and beauty sector, users encounter countless e-commerce sites whose interfaces and purchase journeys tend to blur together. The challenge lies in designing an experience capable of standing apart while strengthening product desirability and brand consistency. It also demands reconciling brand image, editorial content and commercial performance within a single digital platform.
To meet this challenge, Parisian web agency Bonhomme places branding at the heart of the site's design. Photographic campaigns become the central elements of the visual narrative, staging the collections across the brand's different universes. Large-format imagery occupies a major place in the interface, showcasing the products and extending the emotional experience specific to the fashion and beauty sector. Typography also plays a structuring role in the site's premium identity, used as a genuine graphic element that reinforces brand recall while bringing rhythm and elegance to the digital experience.

Designing a UX/UI approach built for transformation
In Paris, digital agency Bonhomme develops in parallel a UX/UI approach centred on usage and the project's commercial objectives. The e-commerce site brings together several types of content, from the house's history to news, editorial content and the online store. Specific journeys were designed to meet the expectations of different visitor profiles. The UX/UI interface is built to facilitate purchasing while integrating SEO and performance constraints. The site's structure favours immersion in the different collections through a flexible, responsive grid, while a mobile-first approach ensures a smooth experience across all devices.

Results and impact
The initiative makes it possible to:
- strengthen Maison Montagut's brand image;
- develop a more immersive e-commerce experience;
- showcase the collections through strong editorial staging;
- deliver a UX/UI built for conversion;
- improve the readability of content and user journeys;
- create a site capable of reconciling branding and commercial performance.
By bringing together e-commerce, UX/UI and art direction, Bonhomme demonstrates its ability to support fashion and beauty players in designing digital experiences that sustain both brand desirability and the objectives of a premium transformation. The project illustrates how branding can become a genuine performance lever when integrated at the heart of the user experience.
