GDB.tvBrand identity - Corporate website
For 3 years, the Garage Blogs performs in automotive tests. Faced with growing traffic of its blog, GDB team asked us to update its identity.
How to turn an amateur brand image into a premium identity in the automotive sector
Le Garage des Blogs started out as a passionate car blog. Its growing traffic proves the value of its content — but its brand image and website don’t yet reflect the ambition of a true premium car magazine. The branding agency Bonhomme in Paris was brought in to formalise the foundations of a new visual identity and design a website that turns this audience into concrete business opportunities. The challenge is twofold: finding a distinctive symbol in a highly codified automotive sector, and structuring rich content within an architecture that encourages exploration and conversion.
Bonhomme in Paris drew on an existing brand detail to build a coherent, memorable identity. The dinosaur, previously used as a playful element in GDB’s video content, becomes the true symbol of the new identity. This choice is strategic: in a highly competitive automotive sector, it immediately sets GDB apart from its competitors and anchors the brand in a strong, recognisable visual world.
The logotype takes on a premium dimension, turning what was initially an incidental element into an unmissable brand signature. The resulting graphic charter — typography, palette, visual codes — lays the groundwork for an identity that can support GDB’s growth towards a leading car magazine positioning.
The web agency Bonhomme in Paris designed a corporate website whose architecture and features are built to maximise business opportunities. A genuine premium car magazine, GDB covers dealership news on a daily basis — briefs, articles and videos accessible from the homepage in several formats. The UX/UI work keeps the experience readable and intuitive despite the richness of the catalogue: nearly 200 test drives grouped into vehicle sheets sorted by dealership, accessible and usable by the brand’s commercial partners.

Structured test-drive sheets that maximise the value of the catalogue
Nearly 200 car tests had been produced, scattered across various formats — articles, videos, reviews. Bonhomme in Paris grouped them into vehicle sheets sorted by dealership, creating a searchable database with real commercial value. This organisation turns a scattered content catalogue into a genuine business asset for the car brand.
Given the diversity of devices used to access the site, Bonhomme in Paris designed it with a responsive approach. For a car magazine whose audience reads test drives while on the move — at a dealership, on a circuit, travelling — this consistency between desktop and mobile is an essential lever for loyalty.
