TAG Heuer PackagingEshop packaging

As part of the redesign of its digital identity and the expansion of its e-commerce business, the watchmaker TAG Heuer aims to rethink the experience of receiving watches ordered online. The brand has entrusted Bonhomme, a Paris-based luxury web agency specializing in watchmaking, with the design of new packaging specifically for e-commerce orders. The goal is to extend the brand’s premium experience beyond the digital realm and transform the act of opening the package into a true moment of discovery for customers. In the luxury sector, every detail contributes to the perception of the brand. Packaging therefore becomes a strategic element of the overall experience.

Strategic issue

With the rise of e-commerce in the luxury sector, receiving a product becomes a key moment in the relationship between the brand and its clients.

For an international watchmaking house, the packaging must meet several requirements: protect a precious object, express the brand's aesthetic codes and create a memorable unboxing experience.

For branding agency Bonhomme in Paris, the project therefore aims to design packaging capable of extending TAG Heuer's universe and strengthening the consistency between the digital experience, the e-commerce site's UX/UI and the physical object received by the client.

Art direction

Branding agency Bonhomme develops, in its Paris offices, an art direction faithful to the codes of the TAG Heuer watchmaking house.

The box adopts an elegant, minimalist aesthetic. The shield, the brand's iconic emblem, is placed at the center of the packaging and structures the box's visual identity.

The contrast between the black exterior and red interior creates a strong visual effect as soon as the box is opened. The choice of high-end materials also brings subtle tactile nuances, reinforcing the sensory dimension of the experience.

This approach illustrates the attention to detail within the luxury sector, where packaging fully contributes to the brand's expression.

Design and product experience

The packaging is designed to adapt to the constraints of watch e-commerce. The interior of the box is modular, able to accommodate different product or accessory configurations.

The brand experience also extends through the stationery accompanying the watch. An elegant red envelope echoes the box's opening system and TAG Heuer's overall identity, creating visual continuity between the object and its contents.

This holistic approach transforms the receipt of the parcel into a genuine brand experience.

Consistency with the digital ecosystem

This project is part of a broader collaboration between Bonhomme and TAG Heuer around the brand's digital ecosystem.

As a luxury web agency in Paris specialized in watchmaking, Bonhomme ensures consistency between the physical experience of the packaging and the e-commerce site's UX/UI experience.

The goal is to offer clients continuity between the brand's digital universe and the object they receive.

Impact

The new packaging allows TAG Heuer to strengthen the customer experience associated with its e-commerce orders, transforming the receipt of the product into a memorable moment for clients.

In the luxury sector, this approach helps strengthen the brand's desirability and extend the premium experience beyond the website.

This project illustrates Bonhomme's ability, as a luxury web agency in Paris specialized in watchmaking, to design consistent brand experiences across both the digital and the physical object.
