Produit Interieur Brut wants to update its online sales tool. We work with this brand in order to redesign the UI / UX of its e-shop as well as its visual identity.

How to modernise a premium brand image without diluting it

PIB has a distinctive brand identity built around a genuine passion for twentieth-century design. That distinctiveness is a valuable asset that a clumsy redesign could easily erase. The challenge for the branding agency is the same as for any premium furniture brand coming of age: how to modernise without betraying what came before? How to make an identity clearer and more upmarket without chasing the graphic trends of the moment? The answer lies in timeless codes — a pared-back logotype, a rigorous guideline, an art direction built to last rather than to impress.

Bonhomme in Paris designed a logotype with a contemporary aspiration, taking a macro approach to the image. The symbol was simplified and made more legible, designed to work across every medium — from digital to street display. The typography and palette chosen visually translate PIB's passion for twentieth-century design: restraint, precision, and well-judged proportions. This premium brand identity was built to last — it doesn't chase trends, it transcends them.

An ergonomic e-commerce site that showcases the products and drives conversion

With a catalogue of more than 600 references, the furniture brand's e-commerce site needed to be a model of ergonomics. The web agency Bonhomme in Paris structured the navigation around real user behaviour and applied best UX/UI practice to reduce friction at every step of the purchase journey. The clean layout lets the products breathe and conveys the quality of their finishes through the screen.

The site was built mobile first — templates specifically adapted to mobile behaviour ensure a consistent, premium experience across every device. Certain templates were tailored to user behaviour for an optimum experience on all media. For a furniture brand where a large share of purchase decisions are made on the move, this rigour is a necessity.
