StandImmersive website

For the release of the independent film of Taïeb Jonathan, Bonhomme creates an immersive and unifying digital experience. To support the film cause, users are invited to share a self-portrait.

How can you generate virality when announcing a new film?

For the release of Jonathan Taïeb's independent film Stand, the challenge isn't simply to communicate — it's to mobilise. An independent film doesn't have the advertising budgets of major productions; its strength lies in the engagement of its community. Bonhomme, the web agency in Paris, was called on to design an immersive website that turns every visitor into a voice for the film — a device that gives everyone a platform and invites them to champion their own cause.

The principle is as simple as it is engaging: each visitor shares a self-portrait to support the feature film's cause. The images of all participants come together on a huge social wall whose navigation creates an impression of infinity. The UX/UI work creates a premium curved effect using 3D CSS3 transformation matrices — a technical feat that reinforces the installation's immersive, collective dimension, and turns the aggregate of portraits into a living visual work.

Results and impact

The device makes it possible to:

- design a unifying immersive website that gives every visitor a voice around a powerful cause;
- create an infinite 3D CSS3 social wall that turns participants' portraits into a collective, premium visual work;
- generate strong engagement from visitors mobilised around the film Stand;
- produce extensive press coverage thanks to an original, emotionally engaging concept;
- demonstrate Bonhomme's ability to design digital experiences that serve independent projects with the rigour of a premium studio.

By orchestrating the transformation of an awareness campaign into an immersive digital experience, Bonhomme, the Paris web agency, demonstrates its ability to design devices where strategy, UX/UI, design and technological innovation serve a cause with the same rigour as a premium brand.

Awarded a Site of the Day and an Honorable Mention at the Awwwards, a Website of the Day, a Website of the Month and a Website of the Year at the CSS Design Awards, as well as an FWA of the Day and a Mobile of the Day from The FWA, the project illustrates the expertise of Bonhomme, the Paris creative agency, in designing innovative digital experiences recognised among the highest international distinctions.
